It's sad because that's just how these sad moments are supposed to pan out. We all understand that sometimes life is sad and there isn't anyone to blame because this is how the world is. If there ever was a need for an OVA episode, this would be it, have Violet and Taylor interact, the bits we got in Eternity wasn’t enough. Violet Evergarden is one of my favourite pieces of media ever, but I am struggling to come to terms with that very ending, and I desperately want analysis of it recognizing that elephant, confronting it and what it means for the series as a whole, rather than just unabashed praise or skirting around it.
